You are out of my sight, but you will never be out of my heart, I may not see your face, but I will always remember your smile, I will never hear your voice again but you will forever whisper in my ear, I never got to say goodbye to you, or tell you how much you really meant to me, one day we will meet at heavens gates and I will be with you again and this time it will be forever.Memorial Day is a great time to gather with friends, but it is also a time to remember those who have fought hard for our freedom. There are so many I know who have given their lives for our freedom. My Marine will always be close to my heart even though it has been many, many years. On Monday, I will again do “Murph” in memory of him-I am going to do a fitness version of it in the vest. I can picture his face still as I attempt to do workouts or things to try to be close to him. While I was was very heavy when we were together, I know he is smiling down on me as I progress through my journey. To those of you out there who are currently serving…thank you! To those of you have served, thank you! Take time over the weekend to reflect and thank someone who served.
