For the most part of my life I’ve been a pretty patient person. Through this health journey I’ve learned to be calmer, more trusting, and just take the pieces as they fall. I got back my latest blood work and it wasn’t the results that I hoped. I’m severely deficient in testosterone so I knew it was going to take awhile to see the change, but I had at least hoped that my numbers would have some positive gain. Unfortunately nada, the testosterone just isn’t sticking and staying in my body. To top it off, I got progesterone to add to my daily routine too. As well as every other week B Complex shots. It’s just another step in the journey. I know with each step I get a little bit stronger each day.
With these steps backwards, my training has taken a step down too. My training sessions are going anabolic and short. I’m just glad Doc is allowing me to do some. The goal is still to gain muscle.
My training today:
It had been a week and a half since I had been out of the gym, so this was a good start back. Back Squats are pretty much my favorite lift as well as Dead Lifts and RDLs are growing on me too. I feel like I’m making gains despite my road blocks.
Super excited to be going on a 6-day cruise with a gal I train with. While I may not be at my weight goals I am pretty confident walking around in a 2-piece suit. I just ordered some cute booty bathing suit bottoms to show off all my hard work! While I’m nervous about the food options, I’m looking forward to seeing parts of the world I’ve never seen before.
I joined a travel club that has a cruise to Mexico for $69 for 6-days plus a balcony room! So looking forward to trying other trips throughout the years. Maybe one day I’ll have a great man to enjoy them with me-till then it’s friends time.
